While it's only a mockup, there are huge issues that clearly someone didn't care to address.

- Unless that's a laser disc poking out of the side, if the CD sets the scale for the whole thing then the entire menu bar would probably be unbearable to read.
- The name "macbook" implies that it has a lid of sorts. "Mac Nano" would be more likely.
- The iPhone-like buttons are pretty much a waste on the thing if you're going to give it the entire menu bar. Apple would NEVER do this. They'd either give it a full dock or give it the mobile platform. This thing would require a completely new version of OS X.


ATOT could do 10 times better on a photoshop mockup.

I kind of like it as a machine I'd keep in the living room near the TV for quick use or something. Right now I use my iphone and its just fine, and a bigger screen never hurt.

Apple does have machines at the apple store with the 3 buttons in the middle of the screen for genius appointments or something, they could probably leverage that for the buttons on the side, so it wouldn't need a new OSX or anything, though it would be more likely if the macbook nano ran iphone osx (or rather ipod touch)

Well, Intel did say they were working with Apple to make a device 1.5 times larger than the iPhone.
