HD controller: LSI 4-port PCI-card **


OS: XP MCE (waiting for Still Vista Upgrade - hopefully, will get sometime in April)

* - These come as a bundle - so it will be difficult and a lot more expensive to change these

** - Subject to finding these at a bargain price (helpful having a little brother who works as at a distributor to server builders)

Any reason for getting the gamer version of the X-fi? XRam doesnt make a blind bit of difference!!

What Kind of PSU are you getting? because the 8800 requires 26 amps @ 12V minimum which a lot of 500W and under PSU's don't have, I had to cancel and re order from newegg when i built my computer because I overlooked this fact.
