sweet, I like seeing positive stories about the space program. Too often, all we hear about are the ones that didn't work. I'd wish the country got exicted about going to Mars like we did in the 60's about going to the moon.
I think it's pretty damn cool that they could pull this off. Think how much math was required to pefect a two BILLION mile, rendevousing journey with an asteroid going thousands of meters a second through space!
I think the real problem in this deep space missions is trying to foresee all the inevitable situations and details that can and will jeopardise the success of mission if not taken into account.
They are talking about launching it again, and landing somewhere else - if they have enough fuel. I think they should leave it there and send the live pics over the net....
