I've been spending too much time surfing lately, I need some nice geeky non technical manual type book to read. Months ago I finished Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon. It was great, I really loved reading it and would like to find another one of his books. Can anyone recommend another Sephenson book that is kinda geeky like Cryptonomicon and would be a good follow up book? :)

I'm not much into science fiction type books, but I had to read Snow Crash for a class I took in college, and I absolutely loved it. One of the best books I've ever read.

Ok, I'll buy snow crash tomorrow. It better not be too good though, some days I spent way too much time reading cryptonomicon

I think its october too that Kevin Mitnicks "The Art of Deception" comes out, I have to get that too......

I read "In the Beginning Was the Command Line" and that was pretty good. Haven't gone for any of his novels yet. I have plenty of time in college though, I should give it a shot.
