You know what I mean...the second your dog hears the microwave go off (or smells food), he/she comes running and sits down by you while you eat...then when you're done, he/she leaves and goes about their business

I dont know how to use a microwave. Plus I dont have a dog so if I knew how to use the microwave no dog would come running.
 
Not exactly, but whenever our dog didn't come when he was called, running the electric can opener for about 10 seconds would make him appear instantly.
