I have a system based on the P4C800E-deluxe mobo. P4 (3.0 GHz) 1GB low latency memory, bios 1019.
I have a persistant problem that when I transfer more than about 100-800MB to another system whose folder is a network mount, I get a blue screen with a Stop: 0x0000001D and NDIS.SYS displayed as the offending driver.
I updated NDIS.SYS per a microsoft knowledge base article re: a bug in the original SP1 driver, but the problem persists.
The system is otherwise stable - I can play Doom 3, Far Cry,.... with no issues or instabilities whatsoever.
I have Windows XP with SP1
I've tired updating the Intel onboard network interface driver, and may other obvious things, but the problem persists, and I don't get useful hits on Google searches, so it may not be a general problem but one specific to my machine.
