A few days ago I 'inherited' an old quad-pentium 133 NCR server system from a friend. I have been rather discouraged by the amount of documentation I can find on the system, so I'm now asking anyone for help. Basically, I want to overclock the server...plain and simple. I'd like to get the system to ~200MHz, but I have found no jumpers or switches to indicate clock speeds/multipliers/etc. The NCR website has very limited information about the quad-pentium board, and I doubt they would have any information about overclocking it.
My question to everyone here is: Is it possible to overclock this server? If not, can I upgrade the P133 chips to P200 instead of overclocking? Any information would be appreciated.
As far as I know, it used to be called a WorldMark 4000 (I think) and was later renamed an NCR System 3450. It has 256MB of memory, 3 dual SCSI boards, a quad SCSI board, a 4GB SCSI drive and 5 2GB SCSI drives, together in a RAID 5 setup.
Thanks all (and I hope this is the right forum to post this to).
