NCIX RMA experiences

what do u guys think are the chances to get a defective part if i buy all parts for new computer, and how are your experienced with NCIX regarding RMA's, do you have to pay for the way there if u have express RMA?

Chances are 50/50, a part will either be defective or it won't be. Never used NCIX but you could check them at resellerratings.com

the chances of getting a defective part are slim to none.

i have bought whole lists of parts for customer builds from ncix multiple times, as well as my own parts for my rig. never had a defective part except for a 7900GTX that had a dent in one of the heat pipes (which isn't really a defect, its called physical damage). I called them up, and they paid for purolator air both ways. I do spend a lot of money there, so I guess they treat me nice, but honestly I would bet an arm and a leg on the quality of service NCIX provides.

you wont be sorry you bought from them.

I've made 5 or 6 individual orders from NCIX over the last couple years. I'd have to say the whole experience has probably been about an 8 out of 10. I had to RMA a motherboard a couple years ago and I don't remember it being too much of a headache (other than having to wait a week or two for the replacement). I'm having trouble remembering exactly what happened, but I'm pretty sure they just gave me a purolator number to charge the shipping to - so I don't think it cost me anything other than the week or two turn-around.

Good luck!

I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of equipment from NCIX and have had nothing but good things to say. Sometimes it takes a couple of extra days to get an item if they are low on stock and run out before my order, but other than that is has been perfect.

I have never had to actually RMA anything I have gotten from them, but my Zalman VF-900 came with one of the hold down screws missing the threads. They first asked me to contact Zalman which I did but I called them back after Zalman was taking a couple of days to respond to me. They opened up a new VF-900 and shipped me the parts bag (at no cost to me). Within a couple of days I had my parts and was up and running.

I've come close to buying from them many times, but the whole canadian thing kinda scared me a bit🙂 I do have their US site bookmarked for price checks though...
