Will have more thoughts later, but one thought now!!!

The University of Kentucky Wildcats couldn't be farther from where they started this season (at 3 wins vs 5 losses)...Now to win the SEC regular season, the SEC tournament and then get a #2 seed in the tournament...while having a great RPI (and strength of schedule too)!!!

As you can tell, my pick is UK all the way!!! Go Big Blue!!!

Ha, someone mentioned this last week, they let in 65 teams!

Note: Northwestern State and Winthrop will play Tuesday in Dayton. The winner will be the 16th seed in the Midwest.

Stoner, on more conference earned an automatic bid. Instead of getting rid of an at-large spot, the NCAA added the 64-65 play-in game between the last two conferences to have an automatic bid.

GMU over Maryland. Syracuse could make some noise.

The play in game is BS.. The teams that should play in it should be the two worst teams that received an at large bid, not teams that earned a spot by winning there conference.

Stanford won't win. Watch out for Arizona! And I hope somehow the Duke players are rendered unconsious before their game and have to forfeit.

I'd say ISU having grown up in Ames but with Maryland and Stanford standing in the way to just the Final Four, forget it. I say Duke (as much as it pains me). . . .

West: Maryland
East: Duke
Midwest: Arizona
South: North Carolina

I think the South is going to be interesting. While I think UNC will come out of that region for the final four, Michigan State and Florida could come out of that region instead. I think the South is by far the toughest region. I think that the Midwest could get interesting too. I think Tennessee (should they beat Charlotte of course) could give Illinois a tough time, and either Syracuse or Kansas giving some team a close game in the regional semifinals as well (and possibly SU or KU winning the region). It's going to be such a great tournament.....I can't wait for it to start. Oh yea, I almost forgot.....GO ORANGE!!!!! :)

I don't trust Syracuse after January 31. Something just happens to their gameplay (outside of the fact that they play cupcakes early in the season and real teams in February).

Davegod, my alma mater GMU will give the Terps a run for their money. 69-66 last year at Cole. It's just too bad they have to play that game in Boise when MCI would do the job.

Duke will take the East.
Iowa St will upset Stanford for the West.
Arizona will take the Midwest over Kansas...tough game....2OT
Michigan St. over an injured NC for the South.

Duke will crush Iowa St. and Arizona will do the same to Michigan St.

Now for the championship....too hard to decide but I would have to say Duke even though I like Arizona more.

Edski - 2OT vs. Kansas? I think not. Kansas is not that good to stretch AZ.

I can't believe bloody ESPN picked Gonzaga over OU in the second round. I also can't believe that they gave us a damn 4th seed. WTF? We won the championship after 3 hard games basically at home to the other teams (Mizzou and Kansas). Oh well.
