NFL. More tactics, better defense.

NCAA just score up and down the field.

Depends on whether you like watching the training camp or the real thing. College football is a joke.

I liked NCAA when I saw Vick at Virginia Tech (especially in the Sugar Bowl against Florida State). Now the NFL, Vick = Mr. Excitement.

NFL all the way. Greater percentage of amazing athletes, more even talent levels on all teams, faster pace, and a star power appeal. I think the big thing that takes away from the NCAA for me is the obvious poor matchups between teams and almost highschool like mistakes you see players make, just not fun watching people give credit to a playmaker when someones horribly obvoius misstake was the reason for the play in the first place.

I really don't think you can argue about motivation between NCAA and the NFL either.

Just my opinion though, I like watching athletic abilty account for a play and I feel the NFL gives me more of that.

NFL!!!

"almost no players changing teams each year"

Except the 100% turnover every 4 years. Granted, NFL contract probably do not average very long (the end result of the contract and not the terms at the beginning), but the stars usually stick around for a good while.

Apples and oranges to me. NFL does not have "dynasty teams" anymore, due to free agency. Teams will be great for a few years..and then be bad or downright terrible for sometime after that. Name one team that has been consistently great over the past 10 years..right. College Football is a different story, where the schools with the most $$$ can woo the top recruits. Smaller schools, or schools with less prestigous football programs have troubles. Not to say that a school that is terrible in football now, can't slowly evolve into something good, but it takes quite a bit longer. I like the NCAA for its spirit of the fans, the rivalries, the tradition, etc. I like the NFL for the same reason. I believe if you are going to be an NFL fan, you should at least catch SOME college football games, just to see the future stars of the NFL. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing, reversed. College fans who claim they don't like the NFL because its "all about the money.." Please. Unless you have a team that is piss-poor, it IS all about the money in college. Why do you think Miami and VT are going to the ACC? Tradition? To establish new rivalries? Hah...get real.
