NCAA 2004 recruiting tips

A couple of my friends and I have been playing the NCAA 2004 dynasty mode for around 6 seasons now. I was wondering if anyone else plays it and has some good recruiting tips. Any help is much appreciated.

Yea. When recruiting, pay attention mostly to what their interests are. It will say whether or not they are interested in prestige, playing time, coaching style, location, etc. Also try and get all the 5 star and 4 star recruits as possible. Spend your recruiting points like crazy. I've never ran out. With 5 star and 4 stars, do head coach visits. Pay attention to their initial interest level. If they are initially interested in you, it should be easy to land them.
 
What I've been doing is selecting all 4 options for every recruit I try to get. Should I do something like a Coach Visit per player at 1st until I establish what they are looking for in a team; be it coaching style, team prestige etc..? Because I always run out of points before I can fill out my scholarships.
