NC folks: Anyone go to the Microsoft TS2 or Technet seminars yesterday? (March 2nd)

Just curious. There were a handful of kids there. I wonder if they registered because they saw it on Hot deal forum as a way of getting free software and handouts. And by the way, why weren't they in school?

Interesting note. In the TS2 seminar (Microsoft resellers), there were about 75 to 100 folks there. And four of them were women. In the Technet seminar about .Net security strategy, there were about 50 people and 20 of them women. I am not drawing any conclusions from this data, just reporting an interesting fact.

I went to the one in Milwaukee and there were some goofs, but not too many. I just got my Office 2003 yesterday.

If two people from the same company go to the seminar, do they both get the software package?

I went to that one as well (TS2) and got Office a couple of days ago. Of course I filled out the form online around 5:30 that afternoon to get it processed early. I'm not aware of any restrictions on the software...it should be per "valid" person attending and not by company. You could always check the TS2 website.
