So I got hooked on this summer series Persons Unknown.

NBC kept saying "All your questions will be answered by the end of the summer" and "All your questions will be answered by tonight's finale"

Nope. No answers. Just a cliffhanger. Even a white wigged appearance by the Doctor from Voyager was just plain bizarre.

the one reason I've been continuing to watch in spite of its badness was the presumption that it was a mini-series, not a tv show that's not going to get renewed.

If your watching you should know that NBC did not show episode 11. It was only available online. Plus NBC did not even make any mention they were skipping the episode. You should watch that epi before you watch the two season ending epi's from last night. Fortunately for me I noticed that the episode was missing and went into the tv.com forum and found out before I started watching epi 12 and 13. That was another unbelievable NBC disgrace.
