It's a pain that I miss an hour of football to watch it.. but with stupid games like GB vs. Chicago, I didn't mind this week.

I need to see a bit more character development for it to be a real winner in my eyes. If they don't, it'll just be T&A all over the place (is that a bad thing?) James Caan is awesome, though, and really well-casted for this role.

I will watch next week.

oh sod off, you didn't even watch the show. its not all about booty shaking, its more like a cross between drama+csi except these are the people run casinos and catch cheats. a pretty cast is a nice bonus:p

Well said (except i don't know what "sod off" means  )

But the show seems to have elements of depth, I'm just not fully convinced yet. I could look at that "Sam" girl all day and be mighty okay with it. I'll have to watch a few more episodes to make a real opinion.

See, this is my initial problem. This "Greg" character was never really developed. To be fully honest, I don't remember much from the first show.... but I think it was Danny's best friend, "the trouble maker" so to speak.

The "hotel" they film at is ficiticious I believe. They call it the Montecillo i think? Damn, I guess I should start paying more attention to the specifics and less on the women

Season 1
1. Pilot
gs: John Terry (Larry McCoy) Frank Santorelli (Paulie) Cheryl Ladd (Jillian Deline)

A dead body lies in the desert just beyond the landing strip of Las Vegas airport.

Miles away, Delinda is writhing on top of Danny when her dad, Big Ed, barges in on them. As punishment, Big Ed forbids Danny from looking at other woman, and gives him a bevy of assignments to complete. Danny has to find a Whale who never showed up, discover how a Blackjack player is cheating, closely watch a bum in bunny slippers who's on a luck streak, find out what to get Mrs. Johnson for her 30th wedding anniversary gift, and stop an exhibitionist from having sex in an elevator. He also has to remember to give his friend Greg a call. On top of all that, he has to meet Big Ed for a family dinner.

Word quickly spreads about Danny and Delinda. Things go horrible at the family dinner and the Whale is no where to be found. Danny runs around Vegas looking for him. He picks up a lead at a strip joint. Meanwhile, Big Ed picks up on a signal coming into the casino from the outside that is helping the Blackjack cheater. The bum in bunny slippers continues to win big.
While they deal with the cheater, Danny and Mary convince the bum to go to a suite. Danny finds out where the Whale is staying and heads off to bring him back. Danny has a brief run in with his Dad. He promises to go with him to visit his mom's grave on her birthday. Danny gets to the hotel the Whale is staying in. He runs into Jane, a woman he used to date. He asks her for Sam, the man who brought the Whale here, but Jane says both are not there. Danny finds the Whale with women in a hot tub, and discovers Sam and Jane are one and the same. In order to lure the Whale back to Montecito, Danny offers Sam to come work for them exclusively and offers her plenty of benefits. She accepts.

The Whale wants his old suite, but the casino put the bum in the bunny slippers there. Danny tries to convince the bum to walk away with his money so he doesn't lose it all back. The bum ignores him. Danny watches Sam pull a handheld device and figures out how the Blackjack player is cheating. The cheater has a tiny camera on his index finger, sending a live feed of the cards to a valet outside who can see all on a handheld device.

Big Ed and Danny set up the cheater to lose all that he's won. They pull it off and march the cheaters around for everyone to see. Danny learns the bum is back in the casino playing again. En route, he runs into Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. He gets them to stop bickering and gets them to appreciate their marriage. He gives them a nice gift, too. He catches up with the bum who's lost almost everything. Danny convinces him to leave with what he's still got left.

On his way home from Mike's party, he runs into the bum, who is now well dressed and carrying his bunny slippers in a backpack. He finally remembers to give his friend Greg a call. He speed dials on his cell phone.

The dead body remains in the same place as it was. His cell phone rings. Danny leaves a message on it for Greg.

I thought Greg was left sketchy so he can be fleshed out in upcoming episodes, but now I'm not so sure.

This show is about a 6 on the scale, but I'm giving it another shot at improving....I like James Caan and the idea though.
