Imagine this is what Slow is defending...
Patriarchy is a social system in which men hold primary power and predominate in roles of political leadership, moral authority, social privilege and control of property.

Duh, that totally doesn't exist! How many men do you see in power and political leadership?? Almost none of course! How many men on forbes richest list? Zero!
If women aren't in charge of everything it's because ... eh, they're too womenly... If men aren't then it's because of those evil feminists.

(actually; remember when "some" thought campaigns to encourage girls into STEM was stupid and sexist? But the same are now arguing how we need to help the poor boys since they are struggling in school..?). Women don't do STEM; "they just don't want to". Boys don't finish college: "help them! Evil anti-men culture!"

No, what I am saying is that this liberal, feminist fantasy of some kind of patriarchy in place is a lie. Women have every right and then some men have. Well, they can't scramble another human's brains and have it vacuumed out when it is 8 months along. Guess we need to get pussy hats.

yeah guys, women got the right to vote so sexism doesn't exist anymore. Duh! Just like racism was eliminated when the Confederacy surrendered!

Also; if another white person is accused of racism that's an attack on all white people like me, because identity politics.

When I was younger I used to think that all women are actually bisexuals even if they are not aware of it. I wasn't shy about proclaiming this either.

Now it turns that I was right all alone.:p However Slow is full of shit as always.

I said the patriarchy stuff is an absurd lie. I didn't say there is no such thing as sexism, that it doesn't exist on any level. Can you have a discussion outside the realm of exaggerations that you create and then believe I said or implied? Or is everything a caricature of reality for you like the average liberal today?

More inane liberalism. There is no patriarchy. This is yet another example of liberals jumping left of common sense. Feminists and liberals no longer fight for equality but privilege and and the right to hate straight white men. The modern red scare, bigotry and racism hiding behind every corner.

You're the victim.

You, as a white christian male are fully qualified to judge the experience of every non-white, non-christian non-male in the world because, well, you just are.

I am not a christian, I don't believe in that stuff. I see people as equal, not different demographics of victimization, like you.

Oh shit I forgot that you sometimes do this where you claim that women and minorities not only don't have it bad, they actually have it better than white men.

lol. That's always a good measure for 'just how mentally ill is this idiot'.

Also SlowSpyder, who doesn't see race:

I take it you haven't seen it? Odd that a man so brown is so pro-Trump given the left's claims about Trump and his supporters being racists. Then again maybe those claims are bullshit.

If you see all people as equal, then why do you claim other peoples' grievances are the result of "victimhood culture" (or whatever) while insisting that all of your grievances must be taken seriously?
If you see all people as equal, and not in "different containers" (as you say), then why am I posting in yet another Slow straw liberal thread? Yaknow, where one person said something that offended and you argue that that one person's opinions must represent all that is liberalism, "black culture," "dry twat brigade," or whatever so that you can tell people they can't have their own opinions because you've placed them in some "different container." Which is literally your every thread here.

Miley Cyrus does have it better than almost all white men as her net worth is estimated at like $160mm. It's also hard to understand how Miley Cyrus splitting up with her beau is somehow "striking back at the patriarchy" when by all accounts "the partiarchy" is literally how she got her big break (by being the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, a famous singer himself). Seems like a really tenuous argument being made there.

You dolt. I was being sarcastic about how the left sees things there. FFS.

Your post said claims that Trump supporters were racists were bullshit because D'Souza was brown. lol. You were not kidding, you're just not very bright.

I couldn't give less of a shit about Miley Cyrus or who she is married to. As in all things dealing with race, gender, etc, it should come with the implied caveat of 'all else being equal'. Oprah clearly has it far better than any person who has ever even heard of this forum but that doesn't mean that black women are some sort of master class.

How can you know what they are experiencing if you are not them, nor look like them?

I just love when white people try to tell black people what they experience.

Or men try to tell women what they experience.

The thing of it is to me that the right has become somewhat more moderate in recent years while the left has jumped to the left. Views like this that would have been extreme to anyone in the past now find their way to mainstream media sites. The "patriarchy" lie gets repeated and gains life, this is enabled by the mainstream pandering to their left audience. It was not long ago that the idea of socialized college, convicted imprisoned child rapists and domestic terrorists voting, no borders, healthcare for all, etc. etc would have been shunned. The left jumps left, and what seems too left today seems to be the norm in the very near future.
