nice to see that Medium will be back in the fall.

nice choice on moving The West Wing to Sundays as well, when it will have little competition for its key demographic (as opposed to now, where it's up against American Idol and Lost).

most importantly, though, Arrested Development has been renewed 😀

Also on Tuesdays will be a new sitcom, "My Name is Earl," starring Jason Lee of "Chasing Amy" as a criminal who wins a lottery and decides to make amends for past misdeeds

How the hell will the office survive if it is following "My Name Is Earl"

It would be NBC's reasoning for killing it :|:|

Them outright killing it after the first run would have had a backlash most likely as people/critics would have said that they didn't give the show a chance. But if they put it behind some crappy show and it falters, they can come up with a more "plausible" excuse and say that they gave it a chance

My wife will be very pissed if American Dreams doesn't come back. It looks to be replaced by The West Wing on Sundays.

American Dreams had BETTER come back. I love that show. It's one of the last wholesome shows that you can sit down and watch with the whole family on network TV

people really do that? I always figured it was Pax/ABC-Family propoganda or something.

Scrubs is the only thing on NBC that I watch. "My Name is Earl" sounds interesting, but then I find Jason Lee entertaining.

It was canceled. They announced as much last month. Its quality show, but it just doesnt have the viewership needed to stick around. They were going to cancel it last fall, but with it being by Dick Clark they gave it another season in hopes it would do better.

Scrubs will be back mid season.

Im pissed at ABC for jacking around with Boston Legal. Greys Anatomy is crap.

I hate that they are screwing with Scrubs' timeslot again. They did the same crap to Ed and look where that ended up.

they have a few new interesting shows there but I can already tell a few of them arent going to make it.

Martha Stewart's Apprentice: this episode Martha, or "Big Em" as she was known in the yard, instructs her budding hopefuls on how to make shivs with popcicle sticks and what to wear on your first night as being someone's bitch.

well, in the other Scrubs thread a few days back, the producers/writers/whoever were quoted as saying that Scrubs has just enough of a following to keep them on the air, but NBC doesn't give the show much credit, hence the shifting from timeslot to timeslot.

I'd hate to see Scrubs go, it's one of the few shows that I find well written every week.

...Greys Anatomy is crap.

I thought that at first. I'm usually on the computer while my wife watches it. I watch out of the corner of my eye, enough to follow what's going on. It's starting to grow on me. It's kinda like ER on Zoloft, with some music

ER on the other hand...gawd, put that horse to death already

Joey will be on for a while as he got a contract with NBC that was quite lengthy, just to have one of the Friends come back. at least another season or two I think.

It's back on this fall with an extended season to air the rest of Season 1's episodes.
