I don't follow basketball AT ALL and I hear about this Memphis team... whoa.. I thought basketball had enough of a fan base to not warrant a move from ANYWHERE... even Denver. THen I look at NBA.com and noticed the New Orleans Hornets... what happened to Charlotte ?

their playoff games had fans only 20 rows deep, you could see the whole stadium was empty in when the games were televised.
 
Damn the entire state of NC sucks then... cause the Hurricanes can't draw anyone either...
 
And Memphis is any better? LOL....

The only time Memphis sport events have had good turnouts is when FedEx gives thousands of their employees free tickets (Griz games, U of M football/basketball games, etc).

Maybe this new arena, whenever it will be finish, might change things.... or it might just be another waste of tax payer dollar that could have gone to our $hitty school system, maybe even the police force to cut down on crime :frown:
