The overall appearance of NBA Street is mind-boggling to say the least. The players themselves are extravagantly detailed and have great shadow effects as they move along the court. Players move a bit stiff at times but manage to maintain a smooth and fluid movement throughout most of the game. Sure, the players look great, but what really will blow your mind is the detail put into the court's backgrounds and scenery in which the players have their games on. It's simply amazing when something catches your eye in the background and your opponent takes advantage and goes in for the dunk.
Aside from graphics, which we all know that PS2 has, the gameplay is even better! I haven't found such a fun game since the days of Streets of Rage on Sega Genesis. Some have compared this to NBA JAM, but it's nothing like it. It's more challenging and fun. If you haven't bought it yet, go rent it, you'll have one hell of a time!
