nice to see so many spurs fans here...they really look good this year - much better than last year with the additions of Michael finley + nick van exel.

the rich get richer. the Spurs could be scary this season.

but, look for the Detroit Pistons bench to be among the best in the NBA....we've finally got a coach who will play them. the Pistons go from 7 deep last season to 10 deep this season.

even if Detroit's bench is second behind SA's, i'm happy. last season the Pistons basically played their starters the entire playoffs.

If you can believe it , baseball threads get it worse than the basketball ones.

BTW, MSN had an NBA article on its first page about rating basketball players. They called Barkley overrated and Rodman underrated. I would disagree on both counts.

I live in philly but my cable is thru my apt complex...so i get no HD...i dont even get Comcast Sports network
