NBA Rumor: Kevin Garnett (KG) to Detroit??

iamme

Lifer
holy crap, if this happens, i'd soil myself.

LINK

it's a rumor, but just imagining getting KG for Sheed and Darko....omg :Q

Both team executives denied there was any truth to talk that made its way around the league over the weekend that the Detroit Pistons were willing to ship a package including Rasheed Wallace and Darko Milicic to Minnesota for Garnett.

Yeah, I'm sure the Pistons were willing to do the deal. The Wolves would really be going backwards if they made that deal.

Over the summer wasn't it both Wallaces for KG?

Detroit would be almost uncontainable then.

yeah...ny could match salaries which expire soon whiuch would give the wolves much needed cap space...i hear something like 25 mil after two years...and the knicks could offer a bunch of 1st rnd picks which you know are gonna be lottery cause the knicks suck ass.

and i think kg and stefon marbury would like playing with each other.

McHale should be shipped far far away. KG was probably right, and its just wrong that he'd ship out one of the best players/people in the league for one or two critical statements towards mchale.

'sheed and Darko for KG? LOL

Try the two Wallaces.

Jerome James, Malik Rose, Quentin Richardson, and 2 2nd round picks should be enough for the Knicks to land Garnett. Although he is getting up there in the age department and a stud center like jerome james is so hard to find these days. :Q

It didn't work the first time, why would it this time?

yeah right...thats so unbalanced talent-wise...and kg is 30 and has atleast 4 years of MVP caliber play left.

Marbury hasn't changed a bit, ever wonder why he gets traded so often? And I'm sure KG would love going from a 1st place team to a team that has little shot at the playoffs.

yes marbury does get traded a lot and doesnt seem to fit anywhere, but i think pairing him with KG would give him a sense of purpose. also he now has larry brown and while he is being a cry baby about it now, in the end, brown will be the best thing to happen to his career...he is finally going to fit in a system.

and the wolves are miserable...sure they are in first after 10 games, but they are low seeded playoff team at their best...there's nothing for KG there...if he wants to make some noise, he should head out of minny...not necessarily to NY but somewhere, anywhere else.

who the hell called jerome james a "stud" center? he played a good playoof series in a contract year and all of a sudden he's a stud?

anyway, that does sound like the kind of retarded lowball offer isiah likes to make... but it aint ever gonna happen.

wow. if this happens, Detroit would be Jordan era Chicago-caliber and KG may finally get that ring
