i have no probs with baron davis, but stevie franchise?!?!?! your thoughts?

yeah Francis is a shooting guard in a point guard body, like Allen Iverson.

I'd still say Jason Kidd is the top point guard in the league, but is he becoming a coach killer/team cancer?

Thats why I think the Magic are going to surprise some people if Grant Hill stays healthy. Francis can focus on what he does best , scoring with Grant handling the point guard work.

I guess AI is running the point now? Personally, I don't think that he belongs on that list since he is a 2 guard. What is Lebron's position nowadays? I thought he ran the point at some point last year.

Anyways, the PG's that I would put ahead of Steve Francis are: Kidd, Davis, Billups, and Nash (if healthy). I don't agree with having Cassell or Marbury ahead of him. Maybe those two might make it on skill alone, but they carry way too much baggage for my taste. Bibby and Parker are probably on par with Francis. So saying he could be top 5 isn't all that much as a stretch. But keep in mind he is nowhere near Kidd, Davis, or Billups. IMO of course

Francis is not in the top 2 for pg's.. he's more of a sg. But he at least top 5
But dwayne wade is not better than stevie. You forget who stevie was before the van gundy era:

would be my top 4..... who knows how Kidd's knee will be. The players who have had similar surgeries haven't been the same / take a while to recover

After that Francis, Nash, Bibby, Cassell and Parker... each have some negatives which keep them being tops imo

can't blame him for that, he's gotta take all those shots because NO's offense sucks. If you watch him play a lot of times it ends up with him taking a low % shot with the shot clock in single digits.
