David Stern makes a special rule that allows for teams to pseudo trade for MJ, and he gets to go out w/ San Antonio.

jk:

East:
NJ

West:
Spurs if they don't have to play SACto.

Winner: Spurs.

I dont think theres a definitive pick... Its too close to call between everyone except Indiana vs Boston; Sacramento vs Utah and Minnesota vs the Lakers. Indiana and Sacramento and the Lakers should all win. All the others Im not so sure about.

Frankly I hope New Jersey and San Antonio gets to the finals. I would want the Nets to win but SA is a better team unless no one else but Duncan scores then the Nets should win.

I doubt the Nets will win. Don't rule the sixers out assuming both coleman and van horn are injury free.
I think the Bucks might give the Nets a run for their money.

As for the west, i dont care as long as shaq and company doesnt win!

I don't like the Lakers, but it's hard for me to imagine any team beating them right now in a series as long as Shaq is allowed to bowl people over as he has been for years. If the zebra's start calling a foul every time he backs into someone sending them flying, he'd foul out of every game in the first quarter...

Anyway, it looks to me like Lakers vs. Nets, with the Lakers winning easily.

I hate to say it but I think the Lakers are peaking at just the right time and will take it all agains the Nets again in a rematch of last years final.

just because he's big does NOT make it a foul. you make it sound as if it is soo simple. Shaq is without question the hardest player in the league to officiate.

people bounce off him even when THEY are commiting the foul. that's how big he is.

I predict Houston and San Antonio in the western conference finals.

Oops, the Rockets choked and missed the playoffs by one game so now we are a lottery team without a lottery pick since our pick goes to Memphis for the Steve Francis trade. Just great.:disgust:

You have got to be kidding. They guy throws his weight into people left and right. Don't watch many games do you? He steps into them shoulder first and nuggest them out of the way then goes up. It's a shame he doesn't get called everytime, but he's "shaq" and the league couldn't afford him getting fouled out of every game.

I agree with LikeLinus and tagej.

If Shaq wasn't able to throw his weight around and commit an uncalled offensive foul everytime he went to the basket he would be a mediocre player.

i hope the lakers win, but the kings are going to be tough competition, so if i could have 2 picks, those would be mine. keep in mind that webber usually collapses skill-wise in playoffs like the past few years. will we see it again or will he finally get his game straight? will peja make up for his embarrassing missed 3-pointer in the final seconds of last year's series? will kobe continue to mystify us with his moves and aerial assualt? we shall see. go lakers.

btw, i think the east needs a good west team. its starting to become sad, really.

I'll throw a buck into the "Hate Shaq" pot. He's so massive, it's just not fair. I haven't seen many people guard him well, with the exception of maybe Sabonis, and Divac at times. But you almost have to sacrifice your players against him - send them in to foul him, but wait, he's on course for a record free throw percentage year. I vent my frustrations by playing NBA2k3 and using my own created player, Yo Bling, and repeatedly annihilating the lakers 200 to 45. 7'6" of pure goodness, 50.7 ppg, 18.1 rpg, 17.2 spg, 8.3 bpg. Shaq, eat your heart out.

Laker fans will be rejoicing sometime in June.
