NBA LIVE 2001 ON WINDOWS 2000

I am running Windows 2000 SP2. I bought NHL 2001 and NBA Live 2001 for $16 canadian each (about 29 cents american) While NHL 2001 worked fine, my NBA Live 2001 game gives me errors when trying to install. "nbawin.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You need to restart the program." is the error when i hit play on autostart. When I click the Icon, it tells me "unload the debugger and try again". Whats going on? Anybody out there have problems with this? How to fix it is what Im after, the games were on clearance and I cant take them back.
 
Didn't know NBA Live 2001 supported Win2000, my copy didn't...it wouldn't even let me install.

It's just one of those exception games that doesn't support Win2000, as far as I know.
