NBA Live 2001 Always Freezing

Everytime i start playing a game everything its fine and then all of a sudden it freezes. When it doesnt freeze it automatically minimizes the game and i cant bring it back up. I am not overclocking and i have even tried underclocking. I have never finished a game.Also i was messing with a couple of things on NvMax, how do you set them back to default?What should i do?

welcome to the freeze crew,i cant begin to tell how many time that darn game locked up my pc!!!..i ended my worries and returned it untill EA issues a fat patch for the game..go to www.ea.com and goto the community section to access the message boards to see the many probs people are having with live 2K1.
