From today till November 5th, the NBA League Pass on DirecTV is running a free preview. All games will be broadcasted for free! This is important for people like me, a Sonics fan, to see if I should bother signing up for the year. NBA season starts tonight.

I dunno if it's free on the digital cable companies, though. Just check the viewing guide and see if the info says free preview.

Enjoy!

Read above post as: I wish I was married to Rick Fox's wife, had all of his money, his looks and his championship rings. ;)

Hmm, I may be mistaken, I'm not sure yet, but it may just be one game a night. If memory serves me right, the previous years you could see all the games. Right now, I'm only getting the Cavs game. When I called to ask what's up, the guy said he wasn't sure how the free preview worked. He also didn't know if I could subscribe to the League Pass and cancel if I wasn't satisfied. Jerk.

...argh, my mistake. It's because the Cavs/Kings game is the only one on now. There's only three games tonight. All the ones showing up on my list were for tomorrow.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN

I would say it's a waste of money since most games are shown on the Fox sport network , TNT and that other 2 networks.

It's not a waste of money if you like following a certain team and live in another part of the country.....Plus, you get the games that you want to see, not just the Lakers (on TNT/ESPN every night).....

you only get a couple games, a couple days of the week. the nba package offers about 50 games a week or something like that.

Zilla-

You can catch 52 of 82 games on KONG 6/16 and Fox Sports NW. Not to mention anytime they play on national TV.
