NBA Katrina Charity Game

it will be broadcast on TNT, i read.

nice of NBA players to do something about this, they are 'priveleged' (or, as i say, 'way overpaid') and its nice of them to donate money and do this charity game.

I think now they have Kobe, Amare, Stephon Marbury, Ron Artest, Jermaine O'neal, Baron Davis and a few players from Rockets, NO Hornets, and many other stars. It'd be interesting to have a game with stars in the off season, too.

Marbury broke down in tears on a news conference. WTF? and where's big Shaq in all this?

shaq's lounging in his multi million dollar mansion in miami.. i think it's great that these guys are doing this.. great idea.. are they gonna sell tickets and donate the profits? are they just gonna hold it and invite all the refugees?

i think they are selling tickets. article said all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Katrina victims

i dont think shaq would want to play or be around kobe 🙂

why? he can crush Kobe if he wanted. screw personal agendas, play for the victims. it's for a good cause!

shame on the all stars who're not participating, yeah i'm talking about you, tracy mcgrady, vince carter, jason kidd, steve nash, yao ming (ok he probably dont give a fvck), michael finley (with your 2 paychecks next season), and many others.

Yao Ming is in China currently since he usually feels obligated to help the Chinese national team. I am sure when he gets back he will probably help to considering he plays in Houston.

I heard Shaq and his wife are doing their own helping for the victims. Should he be obligated to play in this game?
