NBA lottery, one of the top 20 reasons why that sport is becoming irrelavant in the US.

And the Hawks had a chance at a no-brainer pick and end up with the #3 pick instead. Undoubtedly they will pick up another mediocre power forward now.

Is is any wonder that Atlanta gets a bad rep as not being a good sports town when we've had to deal with the crappy personnel management over the years? Who wants to pay $50 to see this team play? Anybody? Anybody?

Atlanta is lucky they even got a pick. If that pick was #4 or lower it would have been Phoenix's pick.

I have lived in Atlanta and have never paid to see a Hawks game.

It doesn't help them that I am a Pistons fan. :D

Exactly. They would have been better off without it. Instead, everyone gets to watch Billy Knight screw it up again.

I've been twice. Once was free tickets and the other was to see the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe but I got them for a song.

I'm a Pistons fan as well. Lived in Michigan during their title runs in the 80s so they are my adopted team.

Please expand on this statement...

the sport sucks and people are actually beginning to realize that

And you could add that Nascar Ratings, let alone football, kill it. But before we talked about those sports, weekly cable wrestling shows are getting higher ratings than NBA playoff basketball.

The game is inconsistantly called, marketed for people other than the regularly US joe, and the games are scheduled to air at times where most of the US won't be able to watch.

And look whom has the top 3 picks, 3 teams that should be shut down because their craptastic management has made them below irrelavent.

actually, only 1 weekly wrestling show is getting higher ratings, but that's irrelevant.

didn't matter where the celts pick....they're going to have doc rivers as coach either way. p.s. celts didn't tank. That's their actual roster.

And that's why attendance is at an alltime high, and professional basketball is rapidly growing and expanding overseas...ok, thanks for the deep analysis folks.

Thank god the knicks didnt get a top 2 pick.

Why?...the bulls get their pick anyway.

They must be knicks fans. :p

The bulls got 9th, when knicks finished 8th worst. Not bad, and not as it could have been. Rest assured Paxson will work his typical magic with it. :)
