Animation is nice this year but..

1. They changed the gdamn control scheme again..! Am I the only one getting pissed at this, having to relearn them every year?!

2. They have the bs halftime talks, timeouts etc. that lags. Meaning they force you to watch some of it before you can skip through it. Do you understand what press X to skip means motherf!@#

3. For fun, I lowered some of the CPU sliders to 0 like close range, dunking etc. The AI is still scoring when its at 0, so why put in sliders?

I dont know, sorry for the rant. Ton of other stuff that annoyed the heck out of me. All this stupid shit they implement makes me want to put my fist through the wall. Its like wtf were they thinking?!
 
Wow, they changed the mechanics again! That's crazy that you can't skip animations, lol. I still hate 15 and begrudgingly play it for the improved graphics and the rosters. 14 was the last good NBA game.
 
Got it free from PSN Plus and it's a horrible game IMO. Everything from the controls, not being able to skip cut scenes, to the lame story mode.
 
When I googled I was expecting a million complaints but not much, thought it was just me. Thank you, at least there are two others 😀. I don't understand how people pay money to deal with 2K BS every year, this will definitely be the last one for me.
 
I also downloaded it via PS+ and am really on the fence about it, but the controls aren't intuitive to me. Last bball game I enjoyed was College Hoops 2k8 or whatever they released then. Those controls were perfect.
 
I never warmed up to nba2k. I'm in the minority on this, but I always preferred nba live. In the mid 2000's the rhetoric of nbalive being arcady/unrealistic really took off. Thus the soulless, charmless reign of nba2k began. I think for a few years ea even stopped making nbalive. Basketball is a uniquely poetic and eclectic sport, and 2k's iteration of it sucks. 😡
