Us PC people get royally screwed when it comes to sports games. Last years 2k game we got a port from the last gen engine when there was a current gen one that was much much better. This year Sega gave us a port using the current gen engine. I think I'll be ordering it soon, only down sides are the price is $59, where every previous one came in at $29. And it's around FIFTY GIGS installed! I have 2k14 and iirc it's about 8 gigs installed. I might wait for some reviews to see how optimized the PC version is. I don't see how a sports game can be that damn big. I'm not hurting for space so the size isn't a concern except I'm worried it might be a dog of a port. GTA IV was a HUUUUGE open world game and it wasn't that big installed. The graphics look outstanding though.

So it's using the same engine as the PS4 and XB1 versions?

Excited to play it, but yeah that $60 price tag is a big change from the previous games. Also seeing a lot of reports of bugs, so I will be waiting for a few patches to come out first.

I imagine it's going to be the same TERRIBLE UI though. Seriously their menu interface is just so bad.

Seriously, a 50GB install? That's the biggest game yet.

Surely, it's like half of that, and the requirement is conservative. What assets on a basketball game could take up 50GB?

The only reason why historically the PC versions have been so cheap is because they've cut so many features out. So at least they priced it fairly. With 2k15, it looks like PC gamers are finally getting the full experience for the first time in a few years.

the download on Steam's 38 gigs, and I've read it expands when installed. Even if it didn't expand 38 gigs is nutso.

I have it and can confirm the install size. 46.6GB. Pretty nuts. Game is beautful though and runs well (though my rig is pretty solid).

How is the online mode? I had an extremely laggy experience playing in the previous versions even though the person I was trying to play was only a few miles away.
