Okay, I have bought the Zalman heatsink to replace the noisy fan cooler on the NF4 chipset on my A8N. My question is: How do I get the old one off? Will I have to take the entire motherboard out? Can I just use a screwdriver and remove some screws? Or will I have to fiddle with some plastic thingies on the back of the motherboard... or?

Help!

You need to take the motherboard out. You've got to get at the plastic thingies on the back. I just ended up breaking them off, as the nb47j comes with its own. It really isn't too difficult. And well worth it- that fan is a nightmare.

 Or try to squeeze the spread parts together and pull them out. See my Sigpic how nice it looks...and it's silent ;)
