NB fan on Gigabyte P35-DS3R + Scythe Ninja

Can anyone confirm successful merging of a 40mm fan on a Gigabyte P35-DS3R north bridge and a Scythe Ninja Plus rev.B?

While this may not be relevant to your specific situation, I have 2 40mm fans attached to the Northbridge with this board and a Zalman 9500.

How did you strap them to the heatsink, is there room enough to screw them on?
What about noise, which make are the fans, how many dB?

They are 40mm fans from old videocards, or northbridge chipsets. Don't know the ratings. They are attached with tiny drops of crazy glue on their edges holding them on the heatsink. Very quiet. Also put one on the Southbridge...probably overkill.
