Dude.....I have an IC7 with a NB fan/heatsink....and wish for anything that Abit would have taken Asus's idea of just a NB heatsink. Your temps arent going to drop anything at all....only marginal difference, the NB does not generate that much heat. I'm contemplating whether or not to get a Zalman heatsink (NB32J i think) for the NB.

why do you want just the heatsink? isn't the active cooling on your Abit NB more effective the just a heatsink like on my Asus board? i was thinking when you increase the FSB that would cause the NB to generate more heat cuz of the higher FSB speed.

Liike I said...the NB is not a big heat generator....that is why Asus just went with the passive cooling system. Abit built their active cooling system as a marketing scheme. I mean....it looks cool, but like I said, others have tested both active/passive NB temps and they are very similar. I would prefer just a heatsink b/c the IC7's NB fan spins at around 6k rpm and produces quite a bit of noise.
