I already bought a Thermaltake Crystal Orb to go on the North Bridge, but while trying to install it I realized something....It did not fit the holes around the NB. Now my question is should I buy some thermal adhesive (arctic alumina) and stick this sucker on there, or should I just leave it alone. I want to overclock this baby more, but I cant seem to get past 148 FSB. This has my XP1800 runnin at 1702 MHZ.
And also, are there any other NB coolers that will fit the holes? I have no cards in the PCI slots and am using a GeForce3 (also with a Crystal Orb on it). Oh yeah, and I am using Corsair XMS2400 Memory with the heat spreaders and an Alpha PAL8045.

Bump cause I'd like to know if someone has had experience with this. I'll be doing the same thing in about a week.

Yeah I got that Crystal orb thingy 2 days to to find out it wont fit on my old TnT2 Vanta and Ultra. It's designed for the newer video chipsets (ie geforce 2..3..4..amlost fits on my radeon LE.. but that means I have to remove the old black heatsink.) Video Card Chipset, not motherboard (motherboards are usually bigger) and older vga card. I would not advise the thermal sticky thingy.. its not as effective and since its heavy... I'd be afraid to leave it in my system in any shape or form. Just replace the fan on the motherboard with a Delta AFB0512HB.. I did it on my 694T chipset.. works like a cool motha chucka. Man that orb is a nice product..though
