Clinton Elected: 1993
With no wars to fight and no cold war, Clinton decreases (or stops increasing) military spending.
Bush2 Elected: 2001
Iraq War: 2003
Spending goes back to Cold War levels.

Thanks for spending that money and jacking the national debt up higher than anyone else in the history of the entire world. It's not like Americans wanted lower taxes or or a balanced budget or any of that nonsense.

Clinton decreased spending by quite a bit making the same mistake that has caused trouble for the military after every conflict. Anyway defense spending during the cold war was a lot larger percentage of the federal budget that it is today or under GWB... not sure why you left that out. Anyway... this discussion deserves its own thread.

the SEALs kick ass, the radar absorbing helicopter skins kick ass, and the well trained pilots kick ass. That's all I have to say on the issue.
