Browsing around Slickdeals.net I found that Staples is offering a $25 off purchases of $75 or more today only. And I've been looking around for a good GPS, but one that isn't too expensive. I found the Navigon 2100 for $120 at Staples here. I like that it has the road signs and upcoming views for the traffic lanes, as sometimes you can get confused which direction to take. Just wondering if this would be a good unit that will last me a couple of years.

<-- gadgets get and phones forum that way

--> hot deals that way

It will give you directions. If it meets your other criteria buy it, if not don't.

Sometimes staples bundles this with the lifetime traffic update cards ($100 if purchased separatly) so I'd wait for that.

i have one, it has text-to-speech and is fairly easy to use. the directions are alright, they're not "the best" and sometimes it will get confused if you drive underneath another road. it told me to take a hard right in a tunnel once, because there was a road above the tunnel :p

If you like making hard left turns on a two way bridge, get one. It actually really sucks but you get what you pay for.

I wish my TomTom would tell me to make one U-turn instead of 3 rights+1 left :p
(BTW, the Navigon 2100 was one of the Black Friday specials at Staples last year for $100.)
