Navigational Enhancement Suggestion...

Can we get those little [ 1 | 2 | 3 ] page links for long threads on the forum page where the threads are listed, say next to the title, that way when you keep going back to check on huge threads you can just go right to the last page instead of having to load the first page?? Ive seen this done on a forum before, was kind of a nice feature

Sorry, problem with that is threads are never ending, you would have 9 million pages which as you can guess would look awful it has to stay this way. The queries take no time at all, and on a 56k connection it loads perfectly fine.

You could have page 1,2,3,4,5...Last Page
thats what they got over at the [H]OCP seems to work pretty good.

thats not the point, the point is why load the page at all if all the user is going to do is click to page 2 or 3? Its a navigation issue more than anything
