NAV2003 and SP2

i have updated to thge latest strings etc but i dont know what else i have to do to make SP2 recognise i have a valid AV product.

start>settings>control panel>security center>Change the way security center alerts me> *uncheck virus protection* > ok

My security center just says "not monitored: for my virus software (NAV 2003) and says "you've told us that you have the software and will monitor it yourself".

yeah that's one way but i understood that at least for NAV2004 symantec had updated so SP2 saw the AV and updates etc correctly. it would be nice if i could get it to monitor NAV2003 as well for asthetic reasons is nothing else.
i know about turning it off but but really what i was asking. cheers for the input though

i thought there was something call "norton wmi update" or something - what does it do and would that work?
i just recall vaguely readin abotu it a while ago...

I don't know about 2004 but I do get my updates automatically and I do get my scheduled Friday night virus scan so all is well here.
