nausea after moving into different house?

OS

Lifer
I recently moved to a different house with 3 other roommates and in the week or two after moving in here, i get a dull headache from just sitting around. This has never happened before anywhere else i've lived, it took me several days to realize i was getting a headache just sitting here. Anyone else ever have a similar problem and what was the cause?

This house seems fairly old, i'd say between 20-30 yrs. Some considerations i had may be the indoor air might be poor from building material, mold or something. Another thing is there is a power line literally a foot outside the room and it runs parallel to the entire side of the house. I didn't notice this until after i moved in.

alright just now through my casual digging, apparently there is a name for this sort of thing, it's called sick building syndrome.

also there mold test kits but no i have to read through all this stuff to find out how/which ones are effective and how to go about this.

fortunately my lease is month to month, if this ends up being unbearable/unresolvable i can leave.

On the down side, my next door roomie is a cute girl. 😛
