natural selection 2.0 out!

Can someone who's played it give me a brief synopsis on how different it actually is? I'm especially interested in whether the first 5 minutes indisputably sets the stage for the rest the round.
 
it's different from all these other shooter games because it's likea strategy/fps combined type of mod. You can be a commander to make sructures, build structures to protect them, (turrets) give em new weapons, research new technologies, etc. Aliens can build structures if you're a gorge (a type of alien), has different specialties, like the skulk can bite, and throw parasites that track the enemy wherever he is.

half-life and read the post above (including the link). If that doesnt answer your question, it's an-edge-of-the-seat-alien kind of game. If you play at night, which I often do, it does make you jump once in awhile when you're exploring the map (they got new maps and tweaked the old ones). It's pretty fun.
 
hmm for some reason i thought this was that game where you're a white supremacist and you kill minorities

Multiplayer-only Half-life mod where one team plays marines and the other plays aliens. The humans must keep their cool and work together to assault an alien-infested spacecraft or colony. Marines vs. marines and aliens vs. aliens scenarios will also be supported in the near future.

no, halflife goes on sale quite often, i got mine for like 5 bucks a while back🙂

i think its worth about 20 dollars with all the mods.

realism update makes it look reasonably good.

hopefully this 2.0 ns works. i isntalled the older one and no ns games showed on the server browser so igave up😛
