Turkey claims that no sensitive NATO information was compromised.
This is quite alarming, IMO, as now a potential military opponent can see how well prepared an ally is, along with possible tactics, strategy and equipment capabilities. No official confirmation yet, but it is said that Turkey used F4s and not their latest F-16s. However, Turkey will be manufacturing F-35s (Joint Strike Fighters) soon.

It would be quite harmful for the technology behind this plane to fall into the hands of Turkey's new friend. I can see why economically they would like to cozy up with them, however, Red China's treatment of Muslims and ethnic Turks can leave something to be desired.
