The ban, as I understand it, isn't about mentioning gay people, that would be braindead. The ban is about using gay as an derogatory term (usually for things that have nothing to do with homosexuality).

Statements like "That car is gay," or "u r a homo" would be violating the rule. Saying "she only likes gay guys" doesn't seem like it would be, unless I'm missing out on some inside joke or something.

It says specifically, "anti-gay" comments. Suggesting that a girl only likes gay men is not anti-gay, it is saying ... something .. about that girl. I'm not sure exactly what, though.
