The Spainish Basques of today are nothing like the Ancient Basques.
People today who claim to be descended from Judah or even just from the Middle East were not even unified back then.
The Lapps of Sweden are different from the Lapps of Norway.
The list goes on.

The tribes of Europe (celtic, anglos, saxons, whatever) moved around all the time and they were more homogenous than the people of today are.

There is a natural tendency for white/East Asian people to be the minority, as neanderthal genes are recessive and about 80% of today's Europeans came from outside of Europe (maternally at least which matters more than paternally), while only about 20% can claim Europe as their motherland.

Just like total egalitarianism (all men aren't created equal, as humanity consists of at least 2 different subspecies that probably weren't even the same species before they all broke off) is a revolt against nature, total nationalism/uniformity is too.

All of that said, I don't get why so many people are calling for centralized immigration control, because it will never happen. It's not possible because populations shift geographically just like climates have always shifted geographically.

Of course cross breeding will eventually fix that. It helps that travel is trivial, borders are open, and not all people kill each other these days for belonging to a different tribe.

Though some parts of the world are still sadly lacking.

Well, illegal aliens don't pay taxes and they're not subject to min wage legislation. Additionally, they work their asses off. As for the welfare argument, it's stupid because it's not their fault that the welfare State exists. And I'm not racist, but it should be noted that blacks take a lot more welfare than illegal aliens do. I remember awhile back in Richmond I saw blacks working for the city council on one side of the road, and then the mexicans were doing yardwork for a private company.

To answer your question more directly, I think it should be left up to the States.

Imagine that your house is a Democracy. You vote to make decisions, but share common culture, values, language - you are family. This commonality gives you comfort that even if you lose the vote, the power still resides in your family.

Now take an influx of a dozen people. They break in, force their way, and then vote. Power no longer resides with you or your family but with complete strangers who do not share your culture, values, or language. You have been invaded.

Your right to self determination has been violated by the unfamiliarity of those you share it with.

This is the crux of opposing open borders, and has absolutely nothing to do with the color of ones skin.

You seem to be assuming that all immigrants are breaking in to private property when they're not breaking into private property. My parents' house is private property, but the borders aren't.

It does get kind of excessive however and I understand it's not a good idea when govts go out of their way to invite immigrants in. This is a good read and I found the news rather disturbing even though I'm not a paleocon. But then most Swedes are probably just microevolved Arabs (predominantly mtDNA from a sub-saharan Eve, groups pre-HV, H/V, J/T) anyway as I probably am and as are most Modern Europeans. Central Europe and America probably have the most Old Europeans (come from a neanderthal eve, mtDNA haplogroup UK), while most southwestern Europeans (Sicilians) and Northern Europeans (Swedes, Norweigians) were probably the invaders (again, sub-saharan/Australoid HV, JT), the latter microevolved lighter features as they moved up to the snow.
