National ROTC protest?

Anybody heard anything about this? We got the orders today not to wear our uniforms tomorrow, as we usually do every Tuesday, as there is supposed to be some sort of national protest... I haven't been able to find anything on it though. 😕

Not a clue, but ROTC wears their uniforms on Thursday here.

Yeah... we do it tuesday's cause our field labs are scheduled then. All the branches here are basically on different days. I think AFROTC is Thursdays, NROTC is Wednesday.

My girlfriend was in NJROTC for her first 2 years of Highschool.

Had a situation similar to this last year at UVA. I was an Air Force cadet and our building was vandalized by protestors, as well as the buildings of the other 2 branches that were on campus. It's really pitiful that these protestors are so narrow minded that they think that the cadet corps = Bush or whomever they have their pussy sights on.

Some people just dont seem to understand that the Reserves != free ride.

Plus, how do you decide "You know, I dont really think there are any circumstances in which I believe killing someone is justified.... I know, I'll join the Marine Corps!"

EDIT: I can see joining the Air Force as an enlisted man, then you are very likely to be doing technical/support (not to be read as "tech support") work, but seriously, the marines, who have the slogan "every marine is a rifleman"? Your rifle was not designed to shoot paper targets, it was designed to be used to shot people. Shooting paper targets is just practice

If you join the military or any branch of it you better understand that you are joining to engage in war and the death of others. You have no say in the reasons, you just do what you are told to do. That is what a soilder is.
