I think it's scary because of how much disdain govts have for individual rights.

Also, does anyone else think that when the collapse comes people will be sold into slavery? I think people will be sold into slavery for the arab world... the Arabs and Persians could start taking hostages once America collapses.

Yes, the more individual rights and freedoms the populace has the less power the government has over them and it has been made pretty clear those on the Left would prefer less individual rights and freedoms for the populace and more more power got the government.

However as long as the second amendment stays intact I don't think we have to worry about anyone starting crap here.

Guys it's awful early in the morning to have the full crazy out. At least let us crazy lefties have a cup of coffee so we can enjoy the show!

And no, Anarchist420, I don't think you will see a widespread return to slavery, because we have progressed, and we now know that high unemployment, wage-slavery, and fear of starvation are more efficient motivators than whippings and beatings. We may see a return to the 'company store' at some point, but I suspect it will be limited access. Only the valuable, skilled wage-slaves will be 'allowed' to borrow (i.e. unable to ever leave).

On the first point I say no that it wont happen, I am not worried about that at all.

I completely agree that government has so much disdain for individual rights even though they are suppose to protect them. This is the problem with the left wingers, they dont care about individual rights and want bigger government which means even less freedom

I dont think people will be sold into slavery but what we have now is tyranny and slavery with the government telling us what can and cant do. Government and its war on drugs, civil liberties being violated, assassination of American citizens ie the 16 year old kid

If anyone goes into slavery it should be the leeches on welfare to pay back the money they took along with the bureaucrats

America wont survive, the collapse is coming and these "solutions" from the corrupt politicians who answer to Wall Street and the MIC will not work. They will only make the economy worse than it already is

The only way to survive would be if we elected Ron Paul as president or someone with the same views as him
