Audiophilia['o-dE-O-"fi-lE-&]-When your subwoofer makes your cd player skip
The 6.5inch Hertz subs in the kicks in my car with 200rms from a top of the line Alpine amp sometimes make my cd player skip. its crazy. they hit down to like 32hertz with rolloff only starting around 38.
That's great - hope you turn that shit down when appropriate. I've got a fairly high end stereo in my car too but there's a time and place. Most people don't know when/where.
Oh yea, it goes down at intersections, etc. I don't have subs either so my car doesn't boom. I've got the 6.5's up front and 7's behind the seats (2 seater car). The punch hard and are really snappy, but not boomy enough to really travel well outside the car.
Yes, I'm considerate with my loudness.
 You are one of the few. I don't get the guys who drive in front of the grocery store with bass heavy hip hop blasting to the point the mids/highs are distorting. Who are they trying to attract? The only ones who are impressed are others like them. Wait a minute...
Seriously though, they extended what was a quiet dead end road next to our condo a while back and now it's ricers and SUV's with booming bass 24/7. I'm getting old.
Sorry for the thread divert. Back OT...
