Audiophilia['o-dE-O-"fi-lE-&]-When your subwoofer makes your cd player skip

The 6.5inch Hertz subs in the kicks in my car with 200rms from a top of the line Alpine amp sometimes make my cd player skip. its crazy. they hit down to like 32hertz with rolloff only starting around 38.

That's great - hope you turn that shit down when appropriate. I've got a fairly high end stereo in my car too but there's a time and place. Most people don't know when/where.

Oh yea, it goes down at intersections, etc. I don't have subs either so my car doesn't boom. I've got the 6.5's up front and 7's behind the seats (2 seater car). The punch hard and are really snappy, but not boomy enough to really travel well outside the car.

Yes, I'm considerate with my loudness.

 You are one of the few. I don't get the guys who drive in front of the grocery store with bass heavy hip hop blasting to the point the mids/highs are distorting. Who are they trying to attract? The only ones who are impressed are others like them. Wait a minute... ;)

Seriously though, they extended what was a quiet dead end road next to our condo a while back and now it's ricers and SUV's with booming bass 24/7. I'm getting old. :(

Sorry for the thread divert. Back OT... :)

Agreed... and ouch, that would likely work nicely.

In Pennsylvania, a death while committing a felony is automatically second degree murder, and 2nd degree murder here is life in prison... If this guys defense was selling the girl in a place with similar laws, he is screwed regardless.

This. Shit, they could have just hit him over the head and taken her like they do all over the place. It wouldn't be a profitable black market if they had to pay 10k for every girl they grabbed.

I feel bad for her parents, christ, just let the story go away. Of course if her parents watch Fox for news it's hard to drum up too much sympathy.

Joran van der Sloot is a lower life form than a cockroach. Someone should just step on him and squash him.

Sounds like he's admitting he's an accessory to murder. Maybe someone should make him disappear. I like the waterboarding idea. Maybe he needs to be secretly renditioned.

He claims he just said it to piss off Fox News. So it's like before: No evidence, so no conviction. Unless someone drags him to Texas or so, but he's smart enough to stay away from the US so far.

Perhaps this boy is smarter than you think, or he's being coached. Think about it, he's told so many stories he has lost all credibility, or believability, in the courtroom, or anywhere else, (brilliant!). I also believe he's being paid for these interviews, so me thinks, the tales are indeed wagging the dog.

I'd go so far to say that he disappears within 6 months ......... he is obviously pissing the wrong people off. Good riddance.

Why in the hell are you guys talking about car stereos here? There is a time and place for that. Apparently you don't know where and when. :p

Not to get back on subject or anything, but didn't that interview take place in July???? Why is it just coming out now?
