i was listening to an old Nat King Cole CD that we bought for my dad a while back.

man, i'm loving his music. i'm a straight male, but his voice is so smooth and nice to listen to. i'm listening to The Very Thought of You, and it's like watching an entire sappy, Meg Ryan romantic comedy all in one song. so romantic and classy. good stuff.

any other singers from that time era or that sound similar?
 
For more contemporary stuff, listen to Harry Connick Jr. or Chris Isaak. Just don't tell your guy friends about it though. 😛
