Heavy rain, high winds, lightning, thunder and hail all at once.

I hope my power doesn't go off again. :Q

30+ degrees C + advancing cold front = seriously unstable weather.

I can't see my neighbours across the street because of the rain.

Looks like Southern Ontario is going to be hit with storms all night.

Anyone else getting nasty weather?

DOT: Section of Adirondack highway could be closed for weeks

(Lake George, NY - AP) ? It could be weeks before a section of the main highway link between Montreal and New York City is reopened to traffic.

That's according to officials at the state Department of Transportation, which is assessing the damage a mudslide caused to Interstate 87 in the Adirondacks last night.

Severe thunderstorms brought heavy rains that washed out numerous roads west of Lake George in Warren County and caused the mudslide that shut down both sides of I-87 ? the Adirondack Northway ? between exits 23 and 25, about 65 miles north of Albany.

Police are detouring traffic onto nearby Route Nine, which for the most part is a two-lane road as it passes through several towns and villages in the eastern Adirondacks.

This morning a DOT official said it could take days or even weeks before the highway is reopened. The storm damage comes just before the summer season kicks in around the Lake George region, a popular upstate tourist destination.

Just had a cell pass by west of Rochester. Small, but it was interesting for a few minuted. Supposed to get this off and on all night

got an inch of rain today in 45 minutes, and .9 inches of rain last night at some point.

was coming down so hard i couldnt see 20 ft in front of me. was frickin insane.
