No its not smoking or farting in public. I have a nasty habit that involves Ebay and Half.com. Ever since www.zillow.com came out, every time I sell something and get the address of the individual who the product is going to, I zillow them and look at their house from space. Please help me

Don't let this take over your life as well, it is very addicting

I think you should keep doing it. Maybe someday you'll get lucky and find a hot babe sunbathing naked on the roof.

OK, you find someone's home on zillow. What goes through your mind when you see the value of their home?

I actually spend 2 secs just seeing what their home cost. I sell high end bike parts and bike frames and it gives you a sense of what your customer base is.

well the only real way to get rid of this nasty habit is to hire a midget and have him kick/sock you in the nuts everytime you do it

oh and umm film it and post it on here because im sure it will not only cure you but it will be hilarious as well :p

I'm with FoBoT. Market research is a logical thing to do and I don't see a problem.

There is no WAY my house is worth that much. . .where the hell do they get these prices from? $413,000??!! It's just a townhouse!

I might as well also mention that I find many of the values on zillow to be absurd.

According to their site, two years ago my home was worth 100% more than it is today, but then it dropped by 40% to today's value - which is still 20% too high. It might be accurate for some areas, but I have seen plenty of people comment (especially on FW) that the data is completely whacked.
