And if the way the graphics look in this video...it doesn't actually looked half bad.

GT5 will also feature NASCAR, but the franchise has not had a fully licensed game since 2009.

Of course this isn't in everyone's "To buy list"...but heck, thought i'd share. The few times i played this game back in like 2007, the fun was in screwing the other 43 cars over in 20 laps and still winning the races.

I enjoy a good racer. I'll have to check this out. I got my racing start with Papyrus's Nascar Racing back in 95'.

It looks like a VERY obvious pre-rendered cutscene type video, so I doubt the game will look that good.

Is it EA? I'll pass.

-edit--Activision. And no, that comment wasn't your average EA hate. It's that EA NASCAR was bad. I miss Papyrus.

Multiplayer NASCAR games are very fun. Will wait for reviews, but if it can handle a fair amount of player controlled cars this game could be promising.

We still LAN the Papyrus NASCAR games. Nothing beats the depth of the replay viewer - I'm still amazed that almost a decade later, 95% of the racing games either have a very basic or no replay viewer whatsoever.

and truly, i'm not afraid to say i look forward to driving these NASCAR cars in GT5, EA did a poor job with the series, i know GT5 will deliver quality all the way...I think having NASCAR in that mix of other racing series and vehicles will help the experience, a full NASCAR game can get extremely boring after a short while...you know...to the left, to the left, to the left.
