NASA verifies Einstein general theory of relativity.

This was just another way to experimentally verify one of the many conclusions of GR. In this case it's frame-dragging, and the research only further substantiates GR.

This is a different effect from the one verified by the eclipse way back when. That said gravity should bend light. This one says a mass drags spacetime around it as it moves. You don't necessarily get one from the other.

That's precisely why they are performing more experiments. The theory predicted outcomes, and now the experiments are verifying those predictions.

Right, so it still need proving... So it's no surprise people are still experimenting.

You support a hypothesis with evidence and experiment until it becomes a theory.
It's already a theory, right? "Thoeory of relativity" It's beyond a hyopthesis because of past proof and experiment.

News Flash: NASA verifies radio and television waves DO exist and create either sound or moving pictures on highly technical devices known as a radios or televisions. More details to follow...

🙂 J/K I understand what they did.

You know what is truly incredible? Einstein proposed his theories over 80 years ago without any method to test, verify, or prove them. He just sat in his attic and dreamed up these incredibly complex yet unintuitive theory. I find something almost godly about that.

its a fascinating observation. perhaps another plank in the old unified field theory. funny how today all we worship are musicians, actors and athletes. back in einy's day there were some who actually worshipped scientists . . .

back in einy's day, scientists were going to win the war that the entire world was fighting.. no wars today, i'll continue to look to my athletes, msuicians, and actors for inspiration...

just kidding 🙂 I blame MTV.
